just got my account reactivated and am glad to be back on 'the barn'. i've already contacted ol' ron about some info on rebuilding this flat block i acquired a few years back, for get this, $25.( no ron didn't charge me $25 for consultation fees, although that's be cheap for that kind of knowledge.)haven't done a thing with it since i've had it (over 5 years), but starting now. got the plugs out, doesn't want to turn, but some marvel mystery oil down in the cylinders should help. oil pan still has oil in it, at least the dip stick shows so. so here we go.
glad to be back

That 51 merc has to be one of the top good looking post war cars , and yours looks better than new
