52 heater switch?
Hello
My 52 Vic has a 2 speed blower switch. The low speed is working but not the high speed. I am getting an electrical odor on occasion and feel it is related to this problem. Heater motor is not warm or hot. Any thoughts? Thanks! |

Re: 52 heater switch?
I don't know how similar a '52 switch is to a '51, but I had the same problem. On mine, the terminal on the switch is riveted to the interior contacts through a piece of insulating fiber-board. One of the rivets was loose, so I soldered it together to make a solid connection. After thinking about it, I decided it would be less risky than disassembling the switch.
