Default This just in, Bonneville info

Our friend from Connecticut Ron Icantspellit drove the roadster over 200 Saturday afternoon, the first flathead powered car to do this on gas. Watch on facebook under Laura Hot rod Mama San -------- for more updates.

Ron, ran 204.770 mph at 10:53 this morning, pretty happy for the team! Ron broke his own record of 194mph.

Heck of an achievement . . . way to go Ronnie and crew - now back it up in the AM! It takes TWO passes to set a record.

I once had a nicely set record in the FlatCad car, was the first car on the course the following day and burned up an ignition rotor on the starting line (and didn't have a spare). Hard way to lose a record - over a $12 part . . . but it happens to all of us.
