Looks like someone is creative and has deep pockets. Not for me, just hope a restorable A wasn't used. But its his car.

How many of us took a running Model A and made it into something else in the past? Here is what became of a complete and running Fordor that was driven home in 1953 for $50. Do I wish I had it as found? Sure I do! This photo is from the Pismo dunes in 1956 after the V8 replaced the banger. We made it UP Devil's Slide after a good rain firmed up the sand. Mission accomplished, and before paddle tires!
I know some hate this.......If'n you can't say something nice, don't say anything. Many don't like my roadster 'cuz it is B powered, has overdrive, safety belts, etc. I enjoy it the way it is and couldn't care less what others think. My hope is that a new owner will enjoy this roadster and ignore those that dish it. Russ

Very nicely done, BUT I prefer stock Model A's as Henry built them.

As many of you know, auto manufacturers have 'proto-type' cars with a forward looking design often referred to as 'concept cars'. As is evidenced by the unique headlite bar, this car is obviously an early (probably july - August 1927) proto-type concept car of the Ford Motor Company.

Also, as most of you know, once in production the 'finished product' never looks like the 'concept car'. Some concept-car designs never go into production for various reasons. For example in 1934 when Henry Ford designed his rear-engined air-flow concept car, it never went into production - by Ford that is.

However, when Ferdinand Porsche visited the Ford Factory in 1934 as Henry's personal guest, Henry gave Ferdinand all of his engineering and design work for what was to become the ubiquitous air-cooled Volks-Wagen, going into production in 1938.

So it is not too far fetched to understand that the rare Ford Model A proto-type concept car shown in post #1 is really something we should all admire.

I know it is true . . . . . . I saw it on the internet . . . . .

I'm sure the person who built it likes it very much. Everyone has his own taste - respect it.

But it's rare.
That makes it valuable.
Actually I don't mind it, but it's just another hotrod, and I like stock better.

I'm certain that car is fiberglass. In that case, what a waste of fiberglass. Would have made a better shower stall.

Wow, what a tough audience. I doubt if the tiniest part of an original Model A was used/ruined in building this car. I like it but would like it more if it were vermilion. What a knockout that would be.

Well first there is the "somewhat rare" light bar that Brent pointed out...

Well the workmanship is good but they have no eye for design. I'm biased if your going to build a rod build a traditional with a flathead no fenders on deuce rails that would have been much easier looked better and worth more.
