Thoughts and prayers for those in Hurricane Ida's reach. I have family in Baton Rouge and the edge of Lake Ponchatrain.

My family on the shores of Ponchartain fine. Their shotgun house was moved up on piles 18 feet up after Katrina. steel shutters and roof did fine.
No contact with families in Baton Rouge as yet. Mayor there sez they got lucky |
