Is it easier/cheaper to just get a whole lock cylinder...as opposed to a key blank and then calling a lock smith?

If it for your "A" if buy a key blank and have him make you a key

There should be a number on the door handle shaft, A&L or possibly Dick Crabtree
can make keys from that number.
