Default Turlock, CA : TURLOCK SWAP MEET

January 25th and 26th, 2014.

If any of you Ford Barn guys are going to the swap meet stop by and say

hello; I will be in Building 1, Space 1.

Taking a few A parts to sell, such as rebuilt carburetors, type 2 and 3

emergency brake levers, bumper brackets, gas filter bowls, fluted lens with top script and etc.; most parts are original, no junk.

I do have a full set of "RESTORER" Volume 1 thru Volume 55 (no missing

issues) Volume 1 thru 29 are in MAFCA binders. Also "MODEL A NEWS"

January 1967 thru December 2011 plus 3 1962 issues.

I will take $ 500.oo for all the Restorer and Model A News and binders. If

someone is interested and will be in Turlock I can deliver; they would be

rather expensive to ship due to the weight. Send me PM if interested !!!

John LaVoy, editor of "MODEL A TIMES" will be in the space next to me.

Look forward to seeing you,

Ron Rude

I'll be there. But inside the buildings is the last place I go after shopping the field.

Hey Ron. I'm trying to get that direction. Hope to run into you. Do you have a nice set of hub caps? Thanks, Bruce

Bruce,

Only a set of early 28, with "Made in USA", with "star". These are the ones Al Lepore made. They are steel then nickel plated like the originals. No other hub caps.

Bill,

You sure are right, we really need the rain and snow; it is so dry up here in the Quincy area we have not had a permissive burn day for over a month. Still able to drive to Bucks Lake, usually at this time of the year you can hardly get up the hill for all the snow.

Ron-thanks for getting back to me regarding the caps. Unfortunately I need 30/31 style. Guess I'll have to go to Turlock! Take care.

AH...Bucks Lake...many memories at that lake...The old Haskins Bar with all those old steel beer cans along the wall...Went up with the Chico A's for an overnighter back in 1982.

Wish I could make it down for the fun at Turlock...have fun.

Hey, having not been there, How much time should I plan? Not really looking for anything specific, just checking it out. (at least that is my story) the grounds look huge according to the map, is this a two day trip or can you pretty well cover it in one?

You can cover it one day but it will be a long day. Oh and get there VERY early as parking fills up fast.
