I'm missing the part to screw my speedO cable too,that fills hole in tranny and has the little gear in it held with one bolt. Whats it really called?
Not sure year,but is three speed tranny behind my Y-block 292. At this point I don't care about gear teeth count,can do something later about that after I get new tires on as well

Do you mean the end of the speedometer housing that has a o ring seal and the speedometer gear plugs into the cable in it.

I have a speedo cable I just took out of a 58 ford with a 3spd. stick it has the gear and the little bracket that holds it in the tranny, you will need to come up with the bolt for the bracket.

Yes clcrown ,thats it.
Sounds good CB,I do have the cable and housing that runs from speedo in dash to tranny,but not what in hooks to in the tranny. So its what fills the hole in tranny and holds the plastic gear,I don't have the little gear ether,so need both
