GB, looks like you are pulled in at the Winthrop barn. Yes some of our steel lasts well. I just found a 1925 Velie that has very good running gear and frame.

GB, a Velie was a car made from 1908 to 1928. It was made by a maternal grandson of John Deere. He went on to make airplanes as well. Interesting story but off topic here.

(as well as a boodle of fine old Fords,) visit the WAAAM museum in Hood R., where I volunteer. The boys recently finished a long term, "generic" resto. of a '22 Touring that was heavily damaged from a barn collapse. Happier New Year, gents; 2021 should be a vast improvement! |
