Windlace issue
When I open 1928 tudor door, the door strap comes around the windlace and folds it into the door opening and when you close door it gets caught inbetween the door and the door opening. Is this another thing that only happens to me?

Re: Windlace issue
Have you tried to flip the strap over, so it folds inward instead of outward?

Re: Windlace issue
The strap should have two footman's loops at each end that the strap is attached to. Is the hole for the footman's loop opened freely --or is the strap trying to grab onto loop? It should be free and not grabbing onto the loop.

Re: Windlace issue
Are you saying the strap folds into the jam or it pushes the windlace into the jam?

Re: Windlace issue
The strap pushes the windlace in the jam then when I close the door the strap moves away from it and the windlace gets caught in the door.
