Default 30 Tudor wind lace

I’m trying to complete my new interior on my 1930 tutor. The windlace on the door closer to the windshield has a clamp type system to hold the weatherstrip halfway down the door, from there does it go behind the door card or the kick panel? Does anybody have the answer? A photo would be fantastic. thank you in advance Daba

It goes behind the door panel. If fits in the clamp top half and then behind the door panel the second half.
