Default F150 Trans Kits

I did a search here and have found a few kit makers and I don't know if they are all still making the kits for this conversion. I tried to read all the posts but know that I missed a lot but I did find a few. The three that I am interested in contacting are Ken Parker in Van, Tx, Gary Bernard in Ft Worth, Tx, and Dave Delmue in San Jose, CA. If these guys are still making the kit and if anyone has their contact information, could you please let me know by PM or Email or post it here. If there is anyone else that is doing this kit, I would also appreciate their information. Thanks

Dave Delmue (408) 722-2518

I was considering this swap a few months ago. I called Dave and learned he’s still making the kits but I needed to provide the core. Over the next two months I called or visited every salvage yard within 1000 miles of my home (Northern California). I was not able to locate a single core. One was located in Florida but they wanted $1500 plus shipping.

If you go this route please post photos of your progress. Good luck.

I personally prefer the T-5, 5-speed trans, maybe that's just me? The ratios are much better.

I have had the F 150 overdrive transmission from Dave Delmue for about 12years. It is a drop in kit. It is great to drive.

Unfortunately parts have dried up. Probably hard to find one.

A 5 speed is great but requires modification. There sre several ways to put in a 5 speed. You would need to search for the ways.

Another thumbs up for Dave and his F-150 trans kits 👍
Supposedly supplies of used core transmissions are more plentiful south of the border in Mexico, going to have to start checking about getting Dave some more work 😮
