Default Aftermarket oil pan?

Hi, I can’t find an after market, repop oil pan for my model A, are they not available? I’ve checked what seems like all internet parts companies and no one seems to sell one. Any advice? Thanks

Nobody reproduces the oil pans for the model a. You are going to have to find an original. They are out there and pretty easy to find. I probably have about 12 of them but shipping to you would be hateful

Since you are in Cali, search up a local club.
Is this for an "A" or "B" motor?

Check Craig’s List for Southern and Northern California. I’ve see a number of original oil pans listed near you very cheap.

Contact your local Model A club and ask if they would place as ad in their newsletter. You local club might be: http://modelaclubsb.weebly.com. An ad in a local club newsletter would save you shipping and let you see what you are getting before you buy.

Be sure to read the judging standards to see if there are any differences in the pans. If I remember correctly they all interchange but there are a few minor differences. Might as well get the correct one in case you or someone else decides to restore the car at some point in the future.

With so many out there, is there a reason that the OP would be looking for a "NEW" one?

Correct and thanks. I’m looking for a replacement and dont want to inherit a rust bucket. My pan is in excellent condition But has a small issue likely preventing a good seal on the front main. Just looking for a really good condition replacement. Thanks!

Why not repair your pan. The front seal in a lot of these pans was built up with lead. Someone over the course of years may have scraped some of the lead out and created a loose seal. Build the lead back up and you should be in business.
