Well, I've currently got a customers 46 pickup gearbox pulled to bits for a rebuild, also got his diff awaiting fitment of the 3.54 crown wheel and pinion I purchased off of Tim Ayers [where is Tim- has he made the move to the new Barn?] Also got another customers 46 Merc in my shed which is getting an engine rebuild, then also got another mates 34 diff to install another 3.54 gearset into. All this to do, then maybe I can get back into the build up of my 286 for my 35. I swear one day soon I'm gonna retire from doing other peoples stuff, it is encroaching on my own projects. Brian

It been slow around here but I want to install the Columbia in my 33 Ford coupe. I also have a Columbia to put in my 39 Std. The rear end of the 56 need rebuilt because it leaking pretty bad plus the steering leaks.The cable on mu green 39 Ford the rumble lid is froze up a bit.There no end to the work around here. I have been waiting for a Model T engine I sent out to have rebuilt.That going to be a two day job when I get the engine back.I do enjoy playing with the Junkers.Wife has the phone number of the local junkyard on the wall when I croak.She cold blooded I think.

I'm working on swapping Flatheads in our '53 F-100 Panel Truck. Also working on our '39 LZ Convertible Club Coupe and trying to keep up with maintenance on our other cars... The fun never stops.

I am working on a drive line rebuild on a 1935 tudor sedan, the engine, transmission, and steering box are done, I just finished putting in a 3.54 gearset and rebuilding the differential. I also rebuilt the front end, brakes, and cleaned, painted, installed liners in the springs. next up is to paint the rear cross member, and start reassembling everything. Randy

Im putting a 38 panel body on a 39 ford PU frame. I have the body jacked up on stands and I am trying to get the frame ready to roll under it. I have rebuilt the front brakes and I am changing the master cylinder to a dual chamber. I have the steering shaft apart trying to piece together one that works. I have one outer tube that is rusted through on the bottom and one that is cracked in two at the switch.

I'm working at re-restoring a '36 5W Coupe that I have had since the late 80's (if you can call what I did to it back then a 'restoration'). The work I did on it back then was enough to get it on the road, working with what I had which was not much. It was basically a pile of parts, most of which were unusable. In the intervening 20 years or so I was able to aquire enough parts to make a mostly as-original car and decided to take the plunge a couple of years ago. It is almost road-worthy again now with the correct chassis, engine, brakes, steering, and electrical system. Next comes a complete overhaul of the cosmetics.

Finally finished the 40 Mercury Convertible Coupe, (Don't recommend anyone other than Daddy Warbucks trying it, parts very difficult and expensive) 49 2 door has a head bolt broke off in the block waiting for me to get it out, 48 Dodge B1-power wagon runs great but I am working on the cosmetics. Just about finished installing front Disk Brakes on my 53. Now comes the fun
part, making them work. Next step is to replace a hyd line with a bad fitting. a little double flaring, more fun. Will post how they work.

I am in the process of doing a frame off on my 1939 Ford Standard Coupe that I have owned since I was in high school in 1965. This was my daily driver for several years before being relegated to a storage shed and only driven occasionally.
I have now had the frame powdercoated and am slowly adding components as I get them rebuilt. Isn't it strange how much more slowly they go back together than they came apart?

Working the speedometer issue on the 46 Coupe and will soon need to change the rear motor mounts on the 55 F100; they look like they have seen better days. As Vic already said, the fun never stops!

Working on my model A delivery, but with a 39 transmission and a Stromburg 48 car expect to see me from time to time. I also aguired the 38 pu I mentioned over the weekend, so I may have some questions there as I try to revive the engine and get mix parts from the other 38 I have located for a donor. Need to get it all running and assembled within about a month for resale. Rod

Have a good start on assembling a new project, a '38 standard coupe. Going back together stock with the exception of speed parts for the V8-60 and an overdrive. Photos follow. Still looking for a "60" emblem for the hood handle mount as in the b/w photos. The photo shows an "85" I need a "60" - Do you have one for sale?

Just finished installing a Sun RC-50 "Football" tach and EB-1 Transmitter in my '40 (without drilling any holes in the dash). Remember the days when everyone had to have one on their dash, whether they dragged or not?

I am building a 29 RPU with V8 running gear, shocks, brakes etc. VERY nice sheet metal, 59A/39box, nicely cut down K-Member, 35/36 rear, 32/36 front axle, unsplit wishbone, etc, etc. I had some serious help over the winter, most of the big work is finished and it's now a tangled mess of small things but I am extremely happy with how the car is turning out. Motors out and sitting on a stand in the garage,with lots of help from my GS. He told his GM it was fun. happy camper today. ken ct.
