Everyone with a garage door needs to take this simple precaution before the bad guys start using this.
Please watch it.

If you simply zip tie the lever up to the slider, then you have to cut the zip tie in order to release the lever.

Excellent video. I will remember that if I ever get locked out of my garage. If you don't use the door often a padlock in the roller track works well. Then there are alarms.

Not on my garage door. Mine has an electric lock that activates when it is closed.

The amateurs took a Vintage Harley from a garage that did'nt even had windows, my friend (the looser) did not have locks in the tracts!! what a loss! he has been crying for a few years now ...
