early Mallory distributors

I have a Mallory model C, type 11, Model A distributor, good runner on my stock Model A engine. It uses Mallory points # 20039. I also have a model K, type 79. It also uses the 20039 points. I recently came across a bunch of NOS pairs of points that are very similar, unnumbered, but don't quite fit. They appear the same, have 1/4'' bushings, mount the same, but the points don't line up exactly, and the bakelite arm doesn't reach the cam. Somebody could possibly use these, but I need to identify them. They seem to be something for early cast iron Mallory distributors. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Thanks, MGM |
