Scam ---
It has been brought to my attention that someone is using the name of the EFV-8C National President to solicit giftcards for "Veterans at Hospice and Palliative care units for preventive items against Corona Virus Disease ( COVID-19). "
Please be advised that the Early Ford V-8 Club and the National President are not participating in this and most likely is a scam to get giftcards sent to a fraudulent email address. Please be aware. |

Re: Scam ---
Our T-bird club president's address was hacked and I get requests like that on a somewhat frequent basis. Hit 'delete' and move on. Long story short - I don't trust any 'sob stories' or requests for donations made online, over the phone, etc. Period. End of Story.

flatford8 summed it up -- the lengths that some people go. Stay safe. And believe in the right and logical things and say a prayer for the first responders. |
