Re: Colour question
I agree, Bambolino Blue. It was introduced by Ford for use during the Spring 1936, about may - june ? Also wood grain dashes and brownish gauge colors and no waterfall trim, just 2 thin stainless vertical beads. The revised slider ash tray was centered under the dash. That is one sharp car.

Re: Colour question
Henry lives in England, so perhaps the more appropriate question would be:
When did Colour become 'color' ?

The info about the dash trim solves a mystery as well...the car has no Waterfall trim piece or thin strips and I thought it had gone missing.Im still looking for one though as I like the look . if anyone has one sitting gathering dust I could be interested . Going off the Spring/ June dating, what are the chances of the motor being an LB? |

Re: Colour question
Applies to Canada too. Even though auto correct keeps trying to change me. Still trying to figure out the colour code on my 53 Merc data plate.

Re: Colour question
Colour it is down here in NZ. Colour must be right because it is English and the English invented English. You "Yanks" adopted the language it and "bastardised" (or is it "bastardized") it?....we could go on for ever couldn't we
