Default Ford pilot lifters
I bet no one has seen a set of thees, Ford Pilot from 1950, I was wondering about using A8BA parallel valves with them but I am worried about the valve wearing into the face? It was a bit cheaper to use 8ba valves and I still could change the lifters before the motor is finished

It was done from the factory.
They are NOT recommended for performance use.

The U.K. Pilot 80g. Vs. US. 43g. Heavy. I don’t believe you would have any problem running 8BA or Chevy valves with these lifters. I purchased these in the USA some years ago.
