Williamson’s Instruments
Does anyone have experience with Williamson Instruments?
If so, how long did it take for work to be completed? Thanks! Steve |

Re: Williamson’s Instruments
Had the clock in my '37 restored by them. It turned out excellent, but the turnaround time left much to be desired. I had to prompt them several times via email.

Excellent work. As mentioned, turnaround leaves a little to be desired.
Dealt with them as long ago as 20 years. They’ve always been like that. |

Re: Williamson’s Instruments
Had them restore 3 Boyce motometer steering column mount "Red Ball" temperature gauges some years ago. Did an excellent job, and the wait was well worth it.

Re: Williamson’s Instruments
Converted the clock in my '54 Ranch Wagon to 12 volt quartz. Cheaper than other vendors. The finished product was great. It did take a while but the owner keep me informed the entire time. My credit card was initially charged without the credit for the initial deposit. The owner called me to tell me about the issue before I even knew of the charge. My card was immediately credited to correct the over charge. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Re: Williamson’s Instruments
I had two clocks converted to quartz, 54 Victoria (and to 12 V) and 56 Bird. Both run excellent. 54 was done 15 years ago, still runs great. Don't remember turnaround time, but don't remember any big deal.

Re: Williamson’s Instruments
Last year I had Ron fix a Stewart Warner temp gauge with the line cut off. I wasn't in any hurry but I don't recall the turnaround being more than a few weeks.
