Default Tardell type crossmember plans?

Are there plans or drawings available to make your own member?

The Bishop/Tardel part only has limited dimensions for the K-member. Ford Motor Co. drawings are available from the Benson Ford research center but may take time due to virus pandemic. The Tardel K-members are basic units that have formed parts welded together to form a member that will work. A lot depends on what the end user wants. If there is no plan of using the 1932 type rear transmission mount, a different design may be in order. This is why some folks opt for a modified F1 cross member. The transmission mount, pedal mounts, and the wishbone mount were the main reason that the 1932 K-member was used to a good extent back in the day. It just made is more simple to go AV8 and add structural rigidity to a weak frame.

This is a link to an old discussion on the subject.
