Plain steel, painted '30-'31 cowl lights
Hello, oh learned Model A Brain Trust..... Looking for info and opinions on these plain steel(not stainless, very magnetic), painted '30-'31 cowl lights. I have 5 of these, all identical. Other than the plain steel, painted buckets, they appear to be identical to factory issued cowl lights. These have pot metal arms, stainless rims, socket and reinforcing plate assembled after buckets painted, silvered reflectors, etc. Logically, they could be called "commercial", just like the headlights, but Judging Standards say nothing about these, that I can find. What do y'all think???

I knew a guy who restored a 31 panel truck and he had black painted cowl lights but I think he just painted over the stainless
