Question 21c-8344456-ss chain set

Does anyone know where I can find a set of stainless tailgate chains for my 1950 F-1? Everyone seems to be out of them.

It looks like the ones they have are for late 50. Based on pictures I've seen, I think I need 48-early 50.

The tough item for a otherwise stock appearing stainless tailgate chain assembly 1938-50 is the top link. This has to be fabricated or cast and then cut and welded for assembly to the chain bracket on the bed.

I have a couple of ideas for a top link that can be cast "open" then folded closed and secured by a screw or by riveting... but is there any market for these at 100.00 pair?

Chains are easy. The bottom link can be a screw carabiner to the hook.
