cheap 3rd brake lite.
For $20 @ Walmart ,I bought a combo brake-turn-tail LED 12 v lite about 2"x6" To use it on my 6v + grd sedan, I used the white grd wire as the hot wire & the brake wire as the grd. I stuck it to the rear window with a dab of clear silicone on each end. Then it was a simple matter to run the wires behind the backrest to tie into the brake lite & grd.

Re: cheap 3rd brake lite.
Since it is rated 12 volts, does it work OK on 6 volts?

Re: cheap 3rd brake lite.
I don't know about this specific unit, but it is very common for 12 volt electronics to work OK on 6 volts because they have a little voltage regulator chip included in them, which regulates voltage down to 5 volts, and they will also regulate 6 volts down to 5 just fine.
