Default fan mix and match

will a 48 fan pulley and generator work on a 38 motor. not sure if the flat surface on the manifold is in the right location for the water pump and generator pulleys to line up. and then can the 48 fan/pulley set up mount such that the crank and fan pulleys will line up. or is some machining/shimming required. thanks for your knowledge.

?? do you have a 38 generator mount, do you have a (I think 1942) to 48 mount? next
inner crank pulley goes to water pumps then to generator measure with straight edge,
common knowledge: Looks like you are going to a later 35amp and reg system on a 38.
Get that dimension right, may have add or mill the late gen housing. Then deal with the fan after:
I wouldn't deal with the intake I'd tweak the gen mount. Too bad if you where here, its
20 minutes time for this In our machine shop - for you a member 10 bucks or two beers LOL sp
