Need Door Bumper Help

I have a 1930 Coupe that needs new bumpers and dovetail clip (rotted or broken) on both doors. I see that several parts suppliers have a kit but no one shows exactly how and where the individual pieces are placed on the car or how to install new dovetail clips. Replacing the dovetail clips looks difficult. It appears that there are rubber bumpers above and below the metal clip inside the door jamb. The top door bumper needs a metal retainer which is missing on both my doors. Looks like a rather involved process. Of course, I am begging the membership for advice, hopefully from someone who has gone through this process. Any photos, schematics etc. appreciated. HELP!!!!!!!!

Here is a picture Marco posted that may help.I think the top bumper goes
on the door frame header not the door.

I have a '29 Coupe, bumpers may have to be trimmed to your fit. Alot of different methods to install, do a search in the forum and see what may work for you. I bought two kits... trial and error on some of the pieces.! kb

In the kit pictured in Bratton's catalog they show a machine screw to hold the bumper to the door header, in the download from Snyder's they show a wood screw. Which is correct?
