Default Looking for spark plug wires for my C69

I'll start the assembly process on my short block later this month and will need to purchase some plug wires. Any advice on what to get and where? I want to get things looking period correct, but not for any show judging. I'll also be using a helmet style distributor.

We, as well as many many other places stock 1937-41 ford wires that are precut and correct tracings, etc..

"Hot Rod" engine or stock? For the later, go with the above suggestions. For a real hot rod engine, make your own using Packard 440 wire and Rajah spark plug terminals.

I like and use Pertronix "stock look" 7mm universal wire sets.

I think maybe you're looking for the period-type, cut-to-length color coded wires like these from Brillman! DD

Thanks for the info/ links. Spoke with a tech today from Brillman, who was very helpful. I'll be ordering their kit P|N B1070-007. I think it probably it is the one that V8Coopman posted above. It will have the period color coded cloth exterior, rubber insulted, copper core. I'm not using an electronic distributor. Price was s very reasonable $43.00.

Decent choice, if you have ends you can make them from bulk wire. Takes about 12ft if I remember for a v8 flathead. About 4$ per foot most places for bulk. So 43$ is not bad.
Looks like you got it covered.

Don't get hung up on the name guys. It's wiring. But they also have cloth type wires with carbon core.

As you mentioned. Copper core for points, carbon for electronic ignitions.

Just looked up Brillman bulk wires. 9$ for 5 ft or 36$ for 25ft. About a 1.80 a ft or less 1.44$. Nice. Not the same color variety as I posted above, but a great price.
