air cleaner on an A
In my club, The Hangtown A's in Placerville, Ca. many of our tours include a few miles on dirt roads. What's the best solution for an air cleaner so I won't suck up dirt into my engine?

install engine pans.
that keeps dust from flipping up. then don't worry about it.

Re: air cleaner on an A
I prefer a K&N filter, as they restrict less than paper and catch dust pretty well. There are 2 that fit the airmaze, one is the same size as the original screen, and the other is longer, requiring that you extend the center with all thread. I can't recall the part numbers, but if you consult a K&N catalog you can find them by dimension. Just measure your airmaze filter insert. Most auto stores carry the catalog and can order the element for you. I prefer the largest one I can get to fit the airmaze.
