Default 8BA Oil Pressure Sender ID

Got this oil pressure sender amongst spares for an 8BA.
On the hex are: 10 LBS and 65 M18.
Any ideas on these numbers? Could the 65 denote 65 Pounds pressure?
What is the normal pressure sensor fitted to these engines.
Thanks for your help,
Phil NZ

Normal 8BA would be a 80lbs sender.
The early ones are 50lbs.
Mus be an aftermarket for something else...the hex should be square on the std type.
Measure the resistance in it will give you a hint what you have.

Appreciate your assistance and probably as you say an aftermarket for something else. As if gauge and sender are mismatched there can be a lower reading on oil pressure gauge comared say to gauge fitted at oil filter?
Thanks,
Phil NZ

If you are talking 50/80lbs ford sender mismatch the gauge only knows 0-max the sender is designed for the purpose 50lbs/80lbs/fuel and the gaugefront to match it.
So using a 50lbs on a later engine will show more then reality and the other way around.
Using one that is not ford...anything can happen...your guess is as good as mine
