Re: Shoebox group
Ford got it right the same year as my Momma! 1949.
Then they played with the perfect mold for a couple of years and broke it! Big nasty hit of the year--"Rooming House Boogie"...slim https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIkUx...eature=related Last edited by denverslim; 05-16-2010 at 08:53 PM. |

Re: Shoebox group
Dude, I'm there! Decided to 'repair' the spare tire well in my '51 with an insulated cooler. Rust has no place in my cars!

Re: Shoebox group
Lots of members already, and so far everybody's car is way nicer than mine. Guess I better get to work.

Re: Shoebox group
Just means we started a little earlier than you Orgo.
By the way, if you have not yet found it, a lot of us hang out over at shoeboxford.com...slim |

Re: Shoebox group
I've spent some time at shoeboxford.com, lots of good info there. Seems like they are mostly interested in selling parts.

Re: Shoebox group
I donno. I don't see that at all. It's mostly just the owners of shoeboxes just yakkin' about their cars and the restoration/customizing of them. The owners of the forum try to discourage others from using the forum to sell parts though, as this cuts into their liveleyhood...slim

Re: Shoebox group
yep... but then again, perception is reality.
give it a chance, there is a ton of knowledge, and if you need parts, Chris and Ray (site sponsors and Shoeboxford.com owners) have just about everything you will need...
