Arabian Sand Light
Hi Everyone,
I am having a hard time finding the right code for the Arabian Sand Light. This is for a 1928 Roadster. My local PPG shop crossed the Dupont code G8883 with a Mercedes color Peublo Beige.I sprayed out a test panel, but it looks more gray then tan (reminds me of clay). Anyone have any insights? Would be greatly appreciated. The car is ready for paint, but the customers hates the Mercedes color. Thanks!! Jim |

Re: Arabian Sand Light
Hi Jim, I use the marc mafca color chip book as a standard the newest one the chips are big enough to read with a rapid match camera. ppg does have model A offset colors, call the color library they should be able to tell you a code. I have the offset codes at home I will look and see what it says tonight. but most of the colors need to be tinted and sprayed out to match standard hope this helps

Re: Arabian Sand Light
Yeah, I saw the book, but was hoping to find something sooner.
Thanks, Jim |
