Default Bright lights are hard to turn on.

I have to really position the lever exactly in the right spot (and it's a tiny spot) to get my bright lights to turn on. Anyone know what the fix might be off the top of their head?

I figured that. What is the fix? Is the switch rebuild-able? Do they sell new ones? I didn't see one listed at Snyder's but I may have overlooked it.

pop off the bail and hve a look, could just need a good cleaning and lived with dielectric grease, or the contact could be melted..

The switch plate is part of the headlight wiring harness...

When you release the bail the metal cover will come off and you will see a black disc with multiple contacts on it...clean those contacts and the ones on the brass ring you will see in there and it should work better....

The switch is at the base of the steering column...
