Houdaille Shocks
Some questions about Houdaille shocks:
What are the usual adjustments for an average damping? Where does the indicator show the correct setting? Any suggestions as to how to adjust them? My shocks were rebuilt many moons ago by Louis Trinque. I pulled them off to see why they were damp around the shaft. Apparently very little seepage as they are full as indicated when held in the level position. The fluid is clean. I noticed that the adjusters are not real tight and are easy to move. One shock lever is slightly easier to move than the others. The others take more effort to move and are about equal in the effort to move. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks. Ken |
