Default 2 vs 3 pin layout of headlamp socket

My 30 fordor has three wires going to each headlight. The actual lamps have only one bulb in them however. Someone just cut off the other socket. Now I need to replace one. In order to keep the same harness connector I would like to replace it with the same socket. Do I have to buy the 2 lamp socket and cut the extra socket off again or does the single socket have the same connector as the 2 pin but just missing the third pin? I've looked in numerous pictures but none show the connector clear enough to tell.

I would think you have to buy the three pin socket. I'm not sure how far you are from Snyder's, but they might have the part you need.

I'm ordering from Snyder's but it's too far to drive. I'll take my chances, they're not expensive. Thanks!
