Default windshield frame screw removal?

On a 1930 4 door... anyone have any tips on removing the screws that hold the windshield frame together?

Carefully applying some heat will work.

This one is really old and probably chinese. I've reground the tip and got two out. Might soak the other two with pb blaster overnight. Those impact drivers are a godsend.

Last one broke off. Oh well. I can fix it. What do those two screws at the top on the outside of the frame do?

the two screws on the front are screwed into a nut on the backside. the nuts is hidden under the windshield seal. unless you are trying to save the paint heat the nuts up and the screw will come out most of the time. on the two on each side of the frame I heat them up three or four time before I try removing them. I also use Windex for penetration and cooling the screws.

Heat! As in actual red-hot heat.
Those screws on my windshield came out rather easily after using a small
acetylene torch on them. Probably one of those MAPP torches would also work.
And of course wait until they cool off before trying to unscrew them.

The same strategy got all 15/16 of my door hinge screws out.
(The last one broke and I had to carefully drill it out, but the threads
in the body were unharmed.)
