packing body blocks 28-9 roadster p/u
Hi folks, at this stage i am setting up the body blocks on my 28 roadster p/u.
It says that on the chassie side of the wooden body block there is a rubber pad,now i have done that on body block 3 and 4.The question is dose a rubber pad go on the front body block 1 .2.3.This is for a steel sub frame. The front body block is all one block for 1.2.3..In the front section there is not much room to put a rubber pad, as it slides in between two metal brackets. Hope someone can help me out , Many thanks Gerry (NZ) |

The long rubber pad goes under the metal cowl, not inside the opening where the wood piece goes. It lays on the front part of the splash apron.

Gerry,
In addition to what Rusty said the front wooden block was originally painted body color and the others had some black paint to serve as a preservative. Dave |
