Default water pump ID please 49 - 53????

Guys, thus far when I've asked for help identifying parts, you've come to bat with a perfect 1000 average.

Let's see what ya got this time

Pair of pumps.
And, are they worth selling or trash pile stuff? They feel okay but are definitely used.

The early 1949 Ford pumps will have a oil cup on the top. And Ford script on the casting. 1950 pumps did not have the oil cup, nor did the later years. 1949 pumps can only be rebuilt if you have the rebuild kits from Ford.

Most pumps that are rebuilt are the 1950 and up.

Hope this helps.

Those wide-belt pumps are '49 Ford car if the "feet" are drilled and tapped for engine mounts, or '53 truck that used the same pumps without any mounting holes because of the truck's central engine mount.

For those that restore or preserve their vehicles as assembled, yes.
It took me a couple of years to find good cores, and the Ford rebuild kits for 1949 for original pumps.
When needing a water pump for a shoebox Ford, every parts seller will always have the rebuilt newer pumps.

Thanks again. I'll list them on eBay later today CHEAP. While I'd prefer these parts get in to the hands of folks that can use them, well, at this stage of life, if no one seems to care, they're gone...

I'm much obliged for all of the help you guys!
