On the black bar above, click on community, then click on view all groups.
Look for the four banger group. ( Page 1, eleven down) Keep 4-banging!

I have been in contact with Jim and that is exactly my intention to get my cam reground as well as Bubbas for a possible electronic conversion for the Mallory. After lots of research and comments from the Barn and HAMB, going to leave the bottom end as is and see what happens. |

[QUOTE=hb32;1083763]Have a dual Burns intake, a pair of Stromberg 81`s, a cast iron Mallory distributor and a Winfield yellow head to my B motor and will get the cam reground for a little more performance. Still have 4 broken studs to remove as well.
hb32, have you posted any of this on the group page? This is just the thread about the group. Keep 4-banging!

Re: 1932-34 Model B Four Cylinder Group started!
Managed to get the 4 broken studs out. No luck with the welder and ended up drilling them. Going to pull the motor shortly so I can assess the bottom end as well as to stuff some later gears in the transmission.
Also looking for an aluminum side cover. |

Re: 1932-34 Model B Four Cylinder Group started!
I have a diamond B engine in my '28 Tudor and another ordinary B engine sitting in a garage for attention sometime. The one that is going is fully inserted and pressurised, 5.5 A head and a Stromberg down draft carburettor from the 1950's-60's from a Holden grey motor (GM's local car). It sits on an A manifold to which I have braised a fitting on top to take the carb. The motor doesn't go as well as I think it should but I have a B inlet manifold coming for it. I'm hoping the larger bore will help. Alternatively, I have fabricated a new manifold that would feed a much bigger motor.
My favourite engine is an A, fully inserted, Burlington crank and the same carb but on a B manifold, electronic ignition and B grind on the cam shaft. It goes much better than the B engine. I'm about to have counterweights made for an A crankshaft and do another engine with even more punch. Each counterweight will have an extra piece on the rod side to get the most I can out of it.

I saw this while on holiday in Australia recently, in the carpark at a classic/vintage race meet, looks like it may need a bit of work! or maybe no work at all. Each to their own.I like it.

That's the way a car should look. No need to worry about keeping people's hands off it!
I think the owner of this one belongs to the Feral Sports Car Club. Google them and see what fun vintage motoring can be but be prepared to spend some time engrossed in their adventures.

Re: 1932-34 Model B Four Cylinder Group started!
I have a model BB dump truck with the B in it and I am about to install a model b with a 32 transmission in a model a roadster. I'm also adding a overdrive driveshaft as well. I need to figure it all out.
