Default AutoUrge Magazine Cover Contest

Hello fellow Fordbarners. I am asking for your help to get my 48 Ford f1 on the cover of a local St.Louis, MO automobile magazine. Auto Urge magazine is having a Cover Car contest in which the winner's vehicle will be featured in an upcoming issue of their magazine. My 48 Ford f1 is one of the 10 finalist in the contest. Please go to www.autourge.com , scroll down to Top 10 Cover Car Contest Finalist, and vote for D- my 1948 Ford f1. I would really like to see one of the fat fendered Fords beat out the more modern vehicles. I believe the voting is open for the next 3 days. Thanks, Robert Whitmore

I think I was able to vote, (never received any confirmation), but that is one of the worst designed user interfaces ever. Obviously they didn't try it out before releasing it.

What kind of powerplant/drivetrain does your F1 have?

The drivetrain is all Ford: 347 Stroker engine putting our somewhere around 500HP, Ford Motorsports clutch, T5 Tremic transmission beefed up by G-GForce to stand 600HP, Ford 9" rearend with 4.11 limited slip gears, 255/45R18 Mickey Thompson tires. It is a handful in first and second gear. Finally hooks up good about halfway through third, and will pull to redline in 4th and fifth, at highly illegal speeds.

Hi Robert, I dropped a vote for you. Good luck, it seems important to you.

I'd love to take a few laps in that Atom, but most of that stuff is not my cup of tea.

Nice truck, but this is not a "restoration".

Just voted for your car rs. The rest of them were "store bought" every day cars.
