Looks like forever4 and I are in the same area on the list. We both "ordered" ours the same day. Still patiently waiting.

Snap on catalogs list 13/32" for 1928 to before July 1929 and 7/16" for July 1929 to 1931

I'll bet Bill Jr. never offers to do something like this again. Bill

Yeah, he seems to have dropped off on keeping us posted on progress.
I think he is probably overwhelmed now, with this taking WAY longer than he anticipated and the requests keep coming.
A great idea has turned into a possible head ache he did not envision when he started.
Everyone who has received one of his sockets is very happy, those of us who have not are waiting patiently (Mostly)... but now it is summer and family time is at a premium.

a simple idea turned complicated when everyone wanted stamping, which was not essential to function

OK, sorry to bring this up again, but wondered if anyone else has received a socket since May? I have not seen or heard anything other than questions and comments (Mine included) since that time and just wondered.

Long story, will try and explain later, but had to remake just over a hundred. Most everyone will hear from me in the next 2 weeks to order, the rest shortly after, and Jax, you will get your notice in the next day or so, as well as the last few in the thread.

Haven't had time to go way back through this thread, but yes, this project has been rather difficult, as well as scrapping almost a hundred sockets by using an outside source for heat treating finished sockets a few months ago.

Thankfully my youngest son has pitched in big time to get things back to where they were a number of months ago with a new supply of blanks.

Sent 20 notices tonight, and will continue on a relatively daily basis.

Thank you all for your continued interest and support.

Bill Jr.
