Scroll up to #228, is that a 60C Steel Back? If so there is something unique about the visor. Bob

These guys look confident - surely on their way out cruising chicks. How fortunate that the Cabby was set up with a rumble seat.

Could have used that snowmobile picture in #249 for my Model A snowmobile track puzzle on Ahooga a few weeks ago.

I wonder where that town in #251 is? That sure is a wide street, and we could use that glass and top shop these days.

Do you have any more info on it? Google Image search didn't turn anything up.

Not much info with that picture. It is St Clair Shores Michigan, only caption said ". . .The Police Department was located in the Davis Building on Eleven Mile and Harper Avenue during the 1920's. L-R: Trufley Dubey, Chief Harold Lanstra, Philip Eckhout, Harvey Champine, Charles Nelson, and Jim Trombley pose with four motorcycles and three vehicles."

#257 notice that every car is backed into it's parking spot. I haven't seen any town where that is the rule. In fact in the high school parking lot back-in parking wasn't allowed.

When more small towns like Keene NH had center Street Parking, I am told that they used to have an ordinance prohibiting "backing onto a public way". due to the fact that Center Street Parking and Side Street Parking would have cars blocking traffic flow as the simultaneously tried to back out of slots. Thus mandating Parallel or "Back in" parking. a similar rule could have applied to the NSW photo.
