Default bumper arms

The judging standards say that your bumper arms should all have the same code stamped on them. Does anyone know what the codes mean? I have some front arms with a "C" stamped on them and also a set with "Y" stamped on them. Does this code tell you where they were made or maybe what body style they belong to? thanks for all your help Ron
