Default brake actuating rod pin

Hi All,

Does the pin that holds 'yoke arm' on the front actuating rod need to be peened over or heated and then peened over?

I followed the way Rich in Tucson did his, I shortened the pin by about half where it needs to be peened and did them cold, I made a riveter from a grade 8 bolt and used a hammer to peen them, came out with a nice round head just like Henrys.
