Transmission Mount
I'm putting a t5 transmission in my '32 with a flathead engine and have to make a new transmission mount. Question is the amount if any tilt the motor should have. I have two 97's should they be level or should there be a little tilt to the motor?

Re: Transmission Mount
All depends on the intake manifold. Some have a tilt built in for the carbs.

So, yes, the carbs should be level |

Re: Transmission Mount
On the same topic. With the rear of the T5 supported on a fabricated cross member, and the engine supported off the water pumps, is there any other support needed? I am a little concerned about the weight being supported by the aluminum tranny. Is there any cause for concern or should I move forward? T5, 59AB, 34 pickup.
Thanks, Al K. |

No other support is necessary or wanted. A three point mount is correct |
