Default The best Model A I have ever seen!

on Ebay I have never seen such a perfect Model A before, and Iam sure I will never see one like this again for sale. I wish I saw this before I did so much work on my own Model A. It is a 1931 Deluxe Coupe Item #112050978436. This guy has sold others that were just as perfect as this one, that he claims to be his favorites, just cant understand why he would sell them.

It is certainly a beautiful car, but those PhotoShop overly enhanced pictures actually hurt my eyes.

Shouldn't Cobra & Chickle Drab have a STRAW stripe and wheels?

Well, the reason it is so good is that it only has 619 miles on it!!!!!!

That wheel color kills it for me, hope it is just a poor camera deal. Bob

Lots of trophy's, but will it run 60 like a factory car?
Do the brakes work?

That may sound like stupied questions, but you might be surprised at how bad some nice looking car drive. I noticed rust at the edges of the springs, now does that mean there is no lubrication between them?

It would also lose a bunch of points at a Model meet because finish of parts. I know that the AACA senior does not mean much other then the paint and interior look good and not necessarly up close.

Yes, I am being negative on this car. For those who are learning and want to buy a car these are little things to consider when you look at pictures. Too many cars look pretty and have poorly done mechanical parts. You need to look for clues as you evaluate. This car could be a super (my definitions) driving car that runs 60 MPH all day long and such, but I am skeptical till I have better reasons to think otherwise.

Sorry, but the colors just don't do it for me. Yes a good restoration.

Appears there may be two (2) very important question to consider prior to purchasing, based on thousands of past Model A Forum comments:

1. Wonder what brand of head gasket he installed?

2. Wonder if he re-torqued the head hot or cold?

Nice car! In response to the color of the wheels, I gotta admit they don't grab me but that can be changed. Painted black would look nice.

Almost looks like the color used to restore the plates was used to do the wheels.

Definitely would not kick this car out of my garage!

Tacoma Cream is the correct color for a late 31. There is one close up picture of a wheel with the correct color. Hopefully it is the lighting or camera that is distorting the color.

Yes looks like someone overdid the color with a photo editor.

What this thread has done is, its just poured a pound of salt into a bleeding wound. If I had come into some money last night as planned, Sarah would be sitting next to Solomon..... after I had changed his wheel color.

If it was such a GREAT car, it would have sold locally, NOT on E-Bay----------

One has to agree, at least, he appears to be a good salesman in reporting finding absolutely no faults ..... the FBI might want to hire him. ?????

The engine is 4635034 which crosses to May 31. The Tacoma Cream wheels came in July 31. But I guess the car could have been assembled in July or later with a May motor...

It is tough to tell actual colors on this car since the photos are so overly enhanced.

Yes, it was Photo-Shopped, wouldn't want to post a FUZZY, BLACK & WHITE pic, Model A's didn't come in those colors!---BUT, they look GOOD on Buster T.

Beautiful car indeed! Thought I saw some obvious blue smoke as he drove away in first video. Just sayin'...
