Default Flathead powered '53 glasspar

Spotted this in Hemmings for sale in Germany.
What I found interesting is the small alternator that is used, wonder what vehicle it was used on.

Those Glasspar G2 kits were the first production fiberglass car body. Bill Tritt was the guy at Glasspar that started that production. He was a hot rodder in the day. I think the first one he built was set on a stripped down Jeep chassis. He left glasspar after the company decided they didn't want to build car bodies anymore to concentrate on their boats.

The alternator looks like the Yaetec used by Kubota for their excavators. It has permanent magnets so it's output would be limited. Sort of like a motorcycle alternator.
