Default Kwik-Lift

Has anyone bought one of these Kwik-Lift? Seems like it could be a good product to get the car off the floor (20" high) to do under the car work. Seems that it can be folded up and than drive the car over it while not in use. I would like to hear from anyone that has bought this product good or bad.
Thanks for your time!

I posted the link because I didn't know what a "Kwik-Lift" is and had to look it up. I assumed that probably others on here were also unfamiliar w/them.

katyThanks again! Sorry about that I didn't post the link. Apparently no one else in the Model A community knows what they are either as there has been 308 views and YOU are the only one who responded!

Thanks Again katy!

Joe, I have seen these at larger venues being offered by vendors. My personal take is they are best suited for very low supercars that are hard to get a floor jack under. I have never considered them as something I would want to own.

In the case of using with a Model-A, access to the axles is very easy and installing jack stands to hold your vehicle in the air is easy too. With that Kwik-Lift stand, it severely limits your ability to crawl under your Model-A, ...which is the reason most people would want one. My recommendation is spend the money for a real drive-on lift instead of this.

Brent,
I have to respectfully disagree with about "it severely limits your ability to crawl under your Model-A". Well this stand gets the car tires off the floor by 20" and of course the Frame is up approx. 22" from the bottom of the tires. My figuring tells me that's 42" that the Frame is off the floor. ALSO the Video shows a gentleman on a creeper going UNDER the ramp to get to the middle of the car.

As to cost drive on ones are at least twice the cost! In my case I only have 10 1/2 foot ceilings so with the Fordor I won't be able to go under it standing up.

Thanks for responding to my Post!
Joe
