Default 40/41 Ford Pickup Cab

I have a fair condition 40/41 cab and bed. I was going to use the bed on my 39 which leaves me with a good cab. I have the 37 Fordor that I was going to cut the top off and make a convertible out of, but it is way on the back burner now. My question is will the front clip from the 37 fit on the 40/41 cab?

You can maker anything fit with enough work. It would be a big task as the cowl on a 37 is very different than the cowl on a '40 pickup cab. There's a huge difference in the mounting of the front fenders, etc. It would be an interesting project though.

Not a 37, but a 36.
It can be done.

And the hood still doesn't fit quite right.

It does make for an attractive vehicle, though.

I've gone over to the truck side, and doubt if I will ever go back and finish the Fordor, was just wondering if I could use parts I already have. That 36 front is Awesome Looking! I googled and found picture of 40 cab with 37 front no explanation with the picture of what was involved. I was just thinking ahead to when I finish the 39 pickup.

That shows some nice metal work on the side of the hood to make it match up with the body beltline.
