1935 Tudor Seat Mounting
The front seat pivot mount is bolted to the floor with two bolts each. The bolt closest to the car centerline is currently bolted to the floor pan. It looks as though it should pass thru the floor pan into the caged nut below it in the frame.
Two questions: Is my assumption correct where the bolt goes?, should their be a spacer between the floor pan and the frame? Another question, attached to the floor stiffener bolt (under the car) is a small clip. There are four total, two on each side, what are these used for? Thank you in advance.

Re: 1935 Tudor Seat Mounting
Hi Tim, I have a coupe and a roadster.Between floor pan and the frame is a plywood spacer.it is about half inch thick. There are no clips on the floor stiffener. Was probably added some time in the cars life to support a wire or something like that. I hope this helps. Dave Collette

Re: 1935 Tudor Seat Mounting
Tim, As I understand it, the seat pivots should be mounted thru the floor pan and support brace as shown in attached photos. No cage nuts as I understand it.
