Speedway Motors has them for sale brand new. I bought some from Hot Rod and Custom Supply. Have been on the car for 18 years Still look new. HR&CS is out of business.

Re: Smitty Muffler 1950's
The correct name of those old mufflers is SMITHY, and Summit has them.
Edit: I called Summit, they said they have NOT handled Smithy mufflers for a couple years now. As Joe said, Speedway does have them, and still lists them in their catalog. .

Re: Smitty Muffler 1950's
For what it's worth I have a pair of Smithy's on a '47 tudor and a pair of Brockman mellow tones on a '39 pickup. My personal preference is the Brockman mellow tones.

Re: Smitty Muffler 1950's
Wow. I have the new ones, and they're too quiet. I reversed them to make them louder but made no difference. Mine are 22".

Re: Smitty Muffler 1950's
I have a pair of 22" Smithys on my AV8 and they have a nice rumble, but not too loud. But I have no tail pipes yet.
